Annie was the daughter of Thomas Allen Lemay and Martha Jane Trobaugh. She married Thomas Jefferson Funkhouser on August 15,1895. Her first three children died before the age of two. They were named Martha, Carrie and Frances Marion. Then she had three sons who lived, Edward Leland, Cleatis Stanley and Elzie Thomas.
Annie, Tom and her first three children are all interred at Walpole Cemetery close to Dale IL. Annie died of a heart attack in her sleep. She was only forty four years old.
