Alan Lee Bosley, 73, of Westminster died Wednesday, June 11, 2008, at his son's home in Pennsylvania.

Born Nov. 10, 1934, in Garrison, he was the son of the late William Thomas and Mary Hunt Bosley. He was the husband of Darlene Bosley, who died in December 1994.

He was a carpenter by trade.

Surviving are children Denise Dawn Doonis of Westminster, Robert Lee Wiles of Eldersburg and Christopher Alan Bosley and Jason Edward Shepard, both of Hanover; siblings Melvin Bosley of Westminster, Joyce Dixon of Pennsylvania, Gloria Whittaker of White Hall, Betty Carter and Sonny Bosley, both of Westminster, Jenny Gibbs of Gettysburg, Pa., Bill Bosley of Dundalk, Milton Keller of Randallstown and Dougie Bosley of the Eastern Shore; 10 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by daughters Chyrl Ann McKenen and Thelma Bosley; and by brothers Marion Thomas, Lawrence and Milton Bosley and Jim Keller.

A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday at Pritts Funeral Home & Chapel, 412 Washington Road, Westminster, with the Rev. Richard Gibbs officiating. Interment will be in Loudon Park Cemetery. (Carroll Co Times - 6/12/2008)
