Peter White, well known resident of Rocky Run, W. Va., died at his home Sunday, Sept. 24, aged 78 years, 6 months and 9 days. Mr. White was born March 15, 1855, and was twice married. His first wife was Sarah Elizabeth Pethtel, whose death occurred 40 years ago. To this union five children were born, namely: Melvia, Cora, Alice, Ella and Della. For his second wife he married Mary Stout, and to this union six children were born, three of them being deceased. The living are Charlie, Henry and Snowden. He leaves seven children, several grandchildren and four brothers, Lindsay, Miner, Inghram and David. He became a member of the Church of Christ more than 60 years ago and remained a faithful member until his death.
