Hazel P. Brogdon
ELWOOD — Hazel P. Brogdon, 75, 602 North A St., died Sunday in Mercy Hospital following a brief illness.
She was born in Elwood and had resided there all her life.
She was formerly employed by the Elwood Community Schools. She was a member of the First Pentecostal Church in Elwood.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Robert (Rosemary) Jones of Anderson and Mrs. Thomas (Pat) Holloman of Elwood; two sisters, Mrs. Paul (Thelma) Pedro and Mrs. Harold (Ruth) VanNess, both of Elwood; four brothers, Robert Taylor and Carl Merida, both of Elwood, Chester Merida and Ed Taylor, both of Frankton; six grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday in First Pentecostal Church at Elwood with the Revs. Max Bingham and Terry Bailey officiating. Burial will be in Elwood City Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 9 p.m. Tuesday in Gopher and Fesler Funeral Home at Elwood and after 12:30 p.m. Wednesday in the church.
