James W. Power, 64, of Petersburg died Wednesday, Oct. 21, 1998, at Memorial Medical Center.
He was born Nov. 5, 1933, in Petersburg, the son of Carl N. and Abbie L. Lynn Power.
He married Dixie J. Evers in 1951 in Greenview; she preceded him in death in 1986.
Mr. Power was a farmer.
Survivors: three daughters, Lynn, Lorna and Lisa Power, all of Petersburg; two sons, Lonnie Power of Greenview, and Larry Power of Petersburg; six grandchildren; two sisters, Adele Davis of Taylorville, and Mary Lynn Hornback of Mesa, Ariz.; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Services: 10:30 a.m. Monday, Hurley Funeral Home, Petersburg, the Rev. Robert Hanson officiating.
Burial: Elmwood Cemetery, Greenview.
