Mrs. Gibbs was the widow of George Gibbs, former well known farmer of Irish Grove.
She was born at Irish Grove and spent most of her life there.
She is survived by one son, Grant, and the following daughters: Mrs. Addie Burns, of Greenview; Mrs. Ella Snyder, of Middletown; Mrs. Sadie [sic] Price, of Sweetwater; Miss Mary Gibbs, at home; Mrs. Josie Knoles [sic], of New Holland; Mrs. Carrie Estill, of Athens; Mrs. Minnie Means, of Springfield; two sisters, Mrs. Mary Etta Hurst, of Los Angeles; Mrs. Addie Lunquist, of Springfield; and twenty-six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at Irish Grove Presbyterian church.
Interment was in Irish Grove cemetery.
