Lymon L Foss, age 79 of Roseville, passed away August 29, 2003.

Lymon was born August 6, 1924, at Hatton, North Dakota.

Preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Josephine Foss; sister, Mardell Opitz; and close aunts and uncles.

Lymon is survived by his loving wife of 33 years, Dorothy; sons, Daniel (Lori) Foss, St Paul and James Foss, St Paul; daughters, Susan Foss, St Paul, Pamela L Forbes of Phoenix, Arizona; three grandchildren, Cassie Foss, Chrissie and Denise Symonds; brother, Carell (Bonnie) Foss of Fargo, North Dakota; sister, Thyrone Monoco of Fargo, North Dakota; sister-in-law, Pat (Russ) Lundberg of Duluth; brother-in-law, Robert (Elaine) Wedan of Largo, Florida; numerous nieces and nephews.

A veteran of WWII, Life member of St. Paul Chapter 2 DAV and 17th Airborne Division, Association Member of Rosetown American Legion, and member of Salem Covenant Church, New Brighton. Retired employee of the Minnesota Housing Finance Agency, State of Minnesota. He served as President of the BOD of BACA; also served for many years on the Board of Directors of Homeward Bound, Inc., New Hope, MN.

Funeral service 11 AM, Wednesday, September 3, 2003, at Salem Covenant Church, 2655 NW 5th Street, New Brighton. Visitation Tuesday, 5-7 PM, at the Roseville Memorial Chapel, 2245 North Hamline Avenue 651-631-2727, and also 1 hour prior to services Wednesday at church. Memorials preferred to Phoenix Residence, 135 Colorado Street East, St Paul, MN 55107 or Salem Covenant Church.
