78 Year Old Woman Succumbs at Home
Mrs. Elmira Waggoner, 78 years old, widow of William Waggoner, died at her home here Monday morning, Jan. 14.
She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Stella Griffith, Mrs. Ruth Duncan and Miss Hazel Waggoner, all of this city; a son Ernest Waggoner of Elgin, Ill,; two brothers and two sisters, Hiram Fulk of Patricksburg, Roy Fulk of Danville, Ill., Mrs. Myrtle Abrell and Mrs. Hattie Nelson of Freedom.
The body was taken to the Schoppenhorst Funeral Home at Clay City and returned to the residence Tuesday afternoon, where short funeral services were held at 1 o'clock Wednesday afternoon with continued services at Bethsaida Church south of Clay City at 2 o'clock. Burial was at the Beech Cemetery.
