Lincoln, Aug. 14. - Mrs. James I. Snyder, 52, well known resident of Middletown, was found dead in bed in her home shortly before 4 o'clock this morning by Mr. Syner. Coroner Ahrens conducted an inquiry and found death was caused by heart failure.

Mrs. Snyder was born April 9, 1881 near Greenview and married James I. Snyder on Aug. 3, 1903, who with one daughter, Mrs. Bernice Wright of Springfield, survive.

The following brother and sisters survive: Grant Gibbs, Mary Gibbs, Mrs. Addie Burns, of Greenview; Mrs. Sadie Price, of Sweetwater; Mrs. Josie Knowles, of New Holland; Mrs. Carrie Estill, of Greenview; and Mrs. Minnie Means, of Middletown.

Funeral services were held at the Presbyterian church in Middletown.

Burial was in Irish Grove cemetery.
