She married John F. Getz on Jan. 14, 1933 in Las Vegas. He died Nov. 7, 1992.
A homemaker, she was a member of the Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church and Altar Society.
Survivors include three sisters, Serephine Haas of Menasha, Wisc., Angie Billinger of Victoria, Lucille Weigel of Hays.
She was preceded in death by four brothers, James, Edmond, Theadore, and Virgil Giebler; three sisters, Cherebine Staab, Hycitha Miller, and Sister Majella Giebler; two stepbrothers, Servillian and Edwin Meis; and two stepsisters, Sally Orth and Justina Keberlein.
Services are at 2 p.m. on Friday at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church with Father Carl Kramer, Father Paulinus Karlin and Bishop Firmin Schmidt officiating; burial in the St. Joseph Cemetery. An Altar Society rosary begins at 4 p.m. Thursday at the Hays Memorial Chapel Funeral Home, 20th and Pine, followed by a parish vigil service at 7:30 p.m. Visitation is from 2 until 9 p.m. Thursday and 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday.
The family suggests memorial to the church or to the Capuchin Missions.
