WINNEMUCCA - Lillian Scales Botkin, 82, of Winnemucca, died at her residence Friday morning.
She was born June 14, 1894 at Winslow, Indiana. For many years she lived at Westminster, California (should be Long Beach, California - rlp) before moving to Winnemucca in 1976.
Surviving are her son, Warren of Winnemucca; daughters, Lois Botkin of Bates, MO, Dorothy McCullom of Arkansas and Betty Combs of Eldon, MO; 23 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
A graveside funeral is scheduled for 2 p.m. Monday at Westminster Memorial Park, Wesminster, California.
