Alta Howard Burgett, age 81 of Richmond, KY, formerly of Morgan County, KY; passed away Friday, July 18, 2008 at her residence following an extended illness.
She was born March 10, 1927 in Salyersville, KY; daughter of the late Harris & Olive Viola Reed Howard.
She was preceded in death by one Daughter; Deloris Burgett, several Sisters & Brothers and two Grandsons.
Surviving is her Husband; Gardner Burgett of Richmond, KY. Three Daughters; Wilma & (Tommy) Hudgins, of Georgetown, KY. Charlene & (Bobby) Tevis of Richmond, KY, Nancy &(Johnny) Hopper of Winchester, KY, Two Sons; William & (Joyce) Burgett of West Liberty, KY & Harold Burgett of Eufala, AL, Two Brothers; Henry Howard & Courtney Howard of Salyersville, KY. Numerous Grandchildren, Great- Grandchildren & Great-Great-Grandchildren & a Host of Nieces & Nephews.
Funeral Services will be conducted 11:00 AM Monday, July 21, 2008 at Herald & Stewart & Halsey Chapel with Bro. Jimmie Adkins officiating. Interment will follow with burial in the Millard Cemetery in Bloomington, KY.
Visitation will begin after 6:00 PM Sunday at Herald & Stewart & Halsey Funeral Home in West Liberty, KY.
Pallbearers: Grandsons.
