Dau of Charles Cole and Elizabeth Asher
Never Married
Born in Altamont, lived there until she entered State Hospital with breast cancer
Mo. death cert 19613, Buchanan, St. Joseph State Hospital #2
Death cert. informant was John Cole of Altamont, (a 1st cousin) and hospital staff. They did not know/show names of her parents.
COD: Breast cancer, which she had when admitted.
Burial/removal was Jun 8 1956, the place of burial was left blank. If the hospital has a paupers area, she may have been buried there, it is more likely she was buried in Altamont. Other Cole's are in this cemetery, including John Cole who may be the John Cole who signed her death cert. Ada's parents are in Winston Cemetery, she may be with them. Placed here for research convenience and because this seems the most likely location for her burial.
It should be noted that C. Hood has done an excellent job of photo indexing this cemetery, as well as Winston where Ada's parents are, and there is not a photo of Ada's tombstone at either cemetery, indicating that she doesn't have one, or may be buried elsewhere. Anyone with information to confirm her burial location, please contact via the suggestion link.
Thanks to shirleyw55 for providing names of Ada's parents.
