LUNSFORD, Mrs. T.B. – The announcement Wednesday of the death of Mrs. Lunsford, wife of Rev. T.B. Lunsford, was a painful surprise to the many friends of the family as it was not generally known that she was sick. She had been sufferer from asthma for some time and was recently taken with pneumonia and she was not strong enough to successfully combat the two diseases, passing away Wednesday morning at 4 o'clock. Funeral services were held at the family residence yesterday morning at 10 o'clock, conducted by Rev. D.C. Boggs of Bentonville after which the remains were interred in Bluff Cemetery. The deceased was something over fifty years of age and although the write had not the privilege of a personal acquaintance with her we have always heard her spoken of in the highest terms of praise as an excellent christian lady. Besides a husband she leaves four children, Tom, Will, Joe and Miss Lucy, and a sister to mourn her death and to them The News tenders its sympathy.[The Springdale News - Springdale, Washington County, Arkansas -
