Mrs. Anna Burgan, formerly of Hubbard Springs, died of pneumonia January 23 at the home of her daughter Mrs. George Edds in Corbin, Ky. Her body was brought to Hubbard Springs for burial in the Bethel cemetery, beside her husband, T. M. Burgan, who died June 7, 1928. She is survived by seven children, Claude and Manuel Burgan of Keniana [sic], William J. Burgan, of Four Mile, Mrs. George Edds and Mrs. Ben Blankenship of Corbin, Mrs. Andrew Jarvis of Four Mile, and Mrs. Lee Fugate, of Norton.
