Jesus was my father's half brother. He was in the 1910 census in St. Hedwig, Tex. Bexar Co.
He appears with my g/parents Anastacio and Victoria (Chapa) Alvarado .
He was five and they had another child Salvador who was 1 yr. My father was not in the census because the census was taken in July and my father Francisco Alvarado was born in Sept. 1910.
Jesus and Gregoria (Macias) Ortiz were parents of Felipe(deceased) Amador, Eloisa, Enrique, and Domingo(deaseaced) Ortiz.
Jesus was the child of Vicente Ortiz and Victoria Chapa, my g/mother.

The last time I saw or heard about Jesus was when he had to place all the children with family because he was going to be admitted to a TB. Hospital, I do not know where.
How sad, that we grew up without knowing that our uncle was still alive. The thought that my father must have not know that his brother was still living in 1961.
I am sure that my father would have visited him or told us about him.
