Former Bank Official Dies
Walter Armstrong Funeral is Saturday
Walter L. Armstrong former official at Uhrichsville and Lisbon, died Thursday at 11 a.m. in his home, 501 College Street, Following a long illness.
Armstrong was a cashier of the Commercial Bank at Uhrichsville before coming to East Liverpool in 1938 and previously held the same post at the People Bank in Lisbon. He was employed for about 10 years by the Potters Insurance Agency here.
He leaves his widow, Mrs. Hazel Hanley Armstrong, and a daughter, Mrs. William J. Reid of Boston and two grandchildren.
Rites will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. in the Dawson Funeral Home by Rev. M. Rudolph Miller, pastor of the First Presbyeterian Church.
Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery.
