Deloris was born of Irish heritage on her grandmother's farm in Geneva, NE, on January 1, 1921. Her parents were Thomas and Elizabeth (Delaney) McGraw.

Known as "Dee," to family, friends and fellow workers, she attended Cathedral High School, Lincoln, NE. She was married to Joseph P. Davidchik, in Sioux City, in 1942, and lived briefly in Los Angeles, CA, while her Marine Corps husband served in the Pacific during W.W.II. She returned to Sioux City where her spouse became a policeman. Captain Davidchik, a recipient of the RFK Medal of Honor, succumbed to wounds in the line of duty on December 30, 1968.

While residing in Sioux City over 60 years, Dee was a pharmaceutical buyer for the Toller Drug Stores, an administrative clerk at St. Vincent Hospital, and co-owner of the Badgerow Pharmacy, in the period from 1955 to 1972.

Dee was of the Roman Catholic faith; she attended Immaculate Conception Church from 1948 to present. She had a special devotion to St. Jude Thaddeus. She enjoyed traveling to many states, the Philippine Islands, Japan, and Hong Kong, while her son was in the U.S. Navy, or employed as a civilian with the Department of Defense.

Dee is survived by her son, Michael D. Davidchik, of Sioux City, grandsons, Joseph P. Davidchik II of Alameda, CA, and Michael D. Davidchik Jr., of Camas, WA, and three great granddaughters, Christine, Joanne, and Lillian, a sister-in-law Ann Rosenbaum of Sioux City.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, Thomas and Robert McGraw, two sisters, Myda McGraw and Maura Evans, and her daughter-in-law, Mercedita Davidchik. Other deceased relatives are John and Zena Davidchik and Eugenie Imboden, all her late husband's siblings.
