Lilian Helen Brueggeman, 72, died at 9:10 P.M. Thursday, March 9th. at her home following a lengthy illness. She worked for Olin Credit Union in East Alton, 41 years, retiring in 1982. Born in Alton, her parents were Julius T. and Lelia A. (Nutter) Anderson, she married Frank W. Brueggeman, December 5th. 1947, in Alton, he survives, also surviving are a sister, Lelia V. Parks, of Alton, preceding her in death were three brothers, Norman, Paul and Donald Anderson, and two sisters, Thelma Owens and Ruth Anderson. Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Sunday at Elias-Smith Funeral Home in Alton, with services at 1 p.m. Monday. The Rev. John Seibert will officiate, burial is in Upper Alton Cemetery, memorials may be given to Woodriver Township Hospital Hospice or Zion Presbyterian Church, Fosterburg.
