Mary Ann was the daughter of John Benedict WISE (1803-1853) and Nancy McLAUGHLIN (b. 1805). Mary Ann was the second wife of Henry Harrison HUKILL (1823-1871). She and Henry married on March 20, 1854, in Versailles, Ripley Co., Indiana. Mary Ann was 20, and Henry had a three-year-old daughter who had lost her mother a year before.
