Glen C. Williams Sr., 94, of Newton Street died at 8:15 a.m. Friday, Oct. 8, 1999, at his home.

He retired from management at Arvin Industries where he worked for 25 years.

He had been a member of St. John's Masonic Lodge for more than 50 years and was past master. He was a member of the Indianapolis Valley of the Scottish Rite and Indianapolis Murat Shrine and Columbus Elks Lodge.

Funeral will be conducted at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Myers Funeral Service, Reed and Jewell Chapel on 25th Street, with the Rev. Dennis W. Aud officiating. Calling will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday and from 9 a.m. until service time Tuesday. A Masonic memorial service will be conducted at 8 p.m. Monday by members of St. John's Masonic Lodge. Burial will be at Garland Brook Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to Hospice of Bartholomew County.

Mr. Williams was born in Brown County July 9, 1905, the son of Harvey and Estella Campbell Williams. He married Margaret L. Low Aug. 10, 1946, in Nashville. She died Feb. 24, 1999.

Surviving are sons, Ron and Carl R. Williams, both of Columbus, and Glen C. Williams Jr. of New Smyrna Beach, Fla.; daughters, Helen Zeigler of Columbus and Jean Griffin of Indianapolis; 14 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and nine great-great-grandchildren.
