Rev. George J. DuBois was born at Haight (now New Hudson). He was the husband of Julia (Fredanberg) DuBois. They were married February 11, 1849. Julia died August 23, 1895. Rev. DuBois was a minister in the Methodist Episcopal Church: East Genesee Conference 1853 F 1855 Genesee (Western New York/now Upper New York) Conference by change of boundaries 1872 East Genesee Conference at reorganization and to Genesee Conference by consolidation 1876. He served Scottsburg and East Sparta, NY 1871.
