A wonderful strong woman that alway put her family first. Helen was born August 2, 1917 to William Louis Cole Sr. and Lula Overton. She had one brother, William Louis Cole of Pennsylvania. She was a member of Bethel A.M.E Church and was a seamstress at a local Thrift Shop. She married Frederick Douglas Waller on June 6, 1936 in Mount Vernon (Posey), Indiana and from this union 5 children were born; Douglas Waller, Janice Waller, John F. Waller, Myrna Loy (Waller) Cumbee, and Steven Waller. She died at the age of 68 and was laid to rest at Odd Fellows Cemetery in Mount Vernon (Posey), Indiana.
