Alfred had a brother Charles Chevrolet who was born in New York in 1907.
The Chevrolet car was named after his father Louis. It was 1911 a year before Alfred's birth when the Chevrolet was first built.
Before Alfred was born the family lived in Baltimore, Maryland. During the 1950s his mother lived at 4713 Balfour in Detroit.
Alfred is buried by his mother.
++++++++
Note, there is a marker by Alfred for his wife Rose. This marker shows her birth & death years. However Rose's obit shows she was actually buried in Niles, Michigan.
This poster did not create that relationship link for Rose in this cemetery. To eliminate future confusion I've added a link for the Cavalry cemetery memorial and created this statement. Because of the two markers/mememorials it is felt both links to Rose should remain.
