BOKOSHE, Okla. — Pauline Tackett, 86, of Bokoshe, Okla., died Friday, Sept. 19, 2008, in Bokoshe. She was born Dec. 9, 1921, in Panama. She was a homemaker, member of the Church of Christ and widow of Leslie Tackett.

Funeral will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Church of Christ in Poteau with burial at Old Bokoshe Cemetery in Bokoshe under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw.

She is survived by two daughters, Joyce Simpson and Linda Corley, both of Panama; two sons, James Tackett of Bokoshe and Arthur Tackett of Spiro; five sisters, Bertha Boitel of Panama, Ocie Brown of McCune, Kan., Mary Stubblefield of Lindsey, Okla., Barbara Dolph of Tulsa and Eva Morgan of Poteau; a brother, Calvin Thomas of Upland, Calif.; 12 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be grandsons.
