Heart trouble resulted in the sudden death yesterday of James Purcell, East Monroe street. He was found dead in his room about 6 o'clock last evening by boarders at the same place. He had been complaining of ill health for some time, though he was able to be about. The remains were removed to the undertaking establishment of Hemberger & Co., where the funeral will be held tomorrow morning at an hour to be announced later.
The decedent was 61 years old and was born in Albany, N. Y. He had been a resident of this city the last thirty-four years. He is survived by one son, William Purcell, residing in this city. - Illinois State Journal, Springfield, IL, 6-13-1906
