Aged 6 years. Raymond died from injuries after being run over by a street car. Son of Mrs. Annie Lear. He was listed on cemetery records as Raymond although some reports stated his name as Robert. He had a brother named Archie who was with him at the time of the accident.

A detailed article in the IL State Journal of Springfield, IL, was published on 4-29-1906. An article in the 4-20-1906 paper stated his father's name as Harry Lear [but was his stepfather] and that his mother Annie Lear was in late pregnancy.

Raymond is in an unmarked single grave as shown by windmill in photo. Location of grave made by using cemetery plot map. There are hundreds of unmarked graves in Block 21, the largest Block in the cemetery.
