MRS. MARY WALTON, 94, DIES AT MADISON HOME

Former Clarksville Resident Will Be Buried There Today.
Mrs. Mary Walton, 94, widow of the late Judge Robert Humphreys, of Clarksville, Tenn., died Friday morning at the home of her grandson, C. M. Armistead, at Madison station. She was one of the oldest and most widely known inhabitants of Middle Tennessee and Southern Kentucky.

Mrs. Walton was a resident of Clarksville more than 50 years. She was a member of the Episcopal church. In late years she had made her home at Madison.

She is survived by her daughters: Mrs. Robert L. Armistead and Miss Carrie Humphreys of Madison, Mrs. Cary N. Weisinger of St. Louis and Mrs. John Humphreys of Cedar Keys, Fla.; one brother, W. D. Merriwether of New Orleans, and 28 grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Funeral will be at Clarksville Saturday morning, the Rev. George O. Watts officiating. Burial will be at Green cemetery here.
