Robert's WWI registration gives his birth date and has him born in Winchester, TN which is in Franklin County. The 1900 census gives he was born July 1886 but his WWI registration has July 15, 1888, no idea which is truly right. His death record only gives he was born about 1888. His parents married in 1882 and according to census info. Robert was their 2nd child so I believe it's most likely he was born in 1886.
I haven't found a marriage record so far for Robert but I believe he married Rosa Turner about 1914-15 for his WWI registration has him with a wife and 2 children.
Robert appears on the 1920 Gilbertsboro, Limestone, AL census as Bob Bolin, age 31, wife Rosa age 22, children Mildred, Grafton and Legrande who is later found with first name of Turner. Robert appears as Robert on the 1930 Gilbertsboro, Limestone, AL census, age 41, wife Rosie age 34, children Mildred, Grafton, Turner, Christine, Maxine and Macie. Robert next appears on the 1940 Gilbertsboro, Limestone, AL census as Robert age 52, wife Rosie age 44, children Grafton, Christine, Maxine, Macie or Marie, Carl Dean, Kenneth and Peggy.
Robert died in 1961 and later records prove that his wife Rosa married an Oscar Vinson so her death record has her under the last name of Vinson.
