Addie Amanda, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Herman Boettcher, was born on her father's farm, southwest of Holton, October 6, 1897. She died on the afternoon of Sept. 30, 1919, after a long and distressing illness.. She became a member of the Presbyterian church of Holton at the age of 17 years. She was laid to rest in the Holton Cemetery.
