Christ Dahl, age 88, died at the Greensview Nursing Home in Bagley on Monday, March 29.
Mr. Dahl was born September 9, 1893 in Norway.
He came with his parents to Twin Valley, Minnesota in 1900. In 1901 the family moved to Holst Township, rural Bagley.
His marriage to Opal Ingalls took place in Bagley on November 19, 1924. After their marriage they lived in Holst township moving into Bagley in 1941. From1942 until 1962 he worked for the railroad.
His wife passed away in 1977. Mr. Dahl was also preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, one sister and two grandchildren.
He is survived by three children, Eddie Dahl, Josh Dahl and Mrs. Warren (Mary May) Field, all of Bagley; 12 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Friday, April 2 at 2:00 p.m. at the Cease Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Clarence Watkins officiating. Burial will be in the Bagley City Cemetery under the direction of the Cease Funeral Home of Bagley.
