She married Theodore James Breitling on January 20, 1940, in New Mexico. Together they owned and operated a beauty shop on Pikes Peak Avenue in downtown Colorado Springs. They sold the shop and moved to Denver where she retired and became a homemaker.
Her husband passed away June 20, 1981. She is survived by a brother Delbert and a sister Eulavee. Services were held March 11, 1985 and she was interred in the Victory Court of Honor, Chapel Hill Cemetery.
