Helen A. Tims, 72, 504 N. Harrison St., died Wednesday morning in the Knox Community Hospital emergency department after an apparent heart attack.

Mrs. Tims was born May 3, 1915 in Mount Vernon to E. O. and Bertha (Hissong) Bevington, where she was a life-long resident. She was a retired employee of Kenyon College and a member of Ebenezer United Methodist Church.

She is survived by her husband, Kenneth Tims; two sons, Don Robert Moxley and Earnest James Moxley, both of Mount Vernon; two step-sons, Joseph Miller of Tennessee, and Timothy Tims of Fredericktown; one daughter, Paulette Marie Hartsock of Sweethome, Ore.; four step-daughters, Judy Debolt of North Carolina, Peggy Clairborne of Tennessee, Sandra Moran of Millwood, and Terri Shanyfelt of Fredericktown; 25 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; three brothers, Delbert and Dwight Bevington, both of Mount Vernon, and Albert Bevington of Ravenns; and one sister, Betty Bumpus of Mansfield.
