Walter G. Jackson, 93, Springfield, died Saturday, Nov. 1, 1997, in ManorCare Health Services, Springfield, after a long illness.
Born in Webster County, Mr. Jackson was a long time area resident. He was a welder for Frisco Railroad, and he was a member of Campbell United Methodist Church.
He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Marjorie and Bob Buff, and his grandson and his wife, David and Julie Buff, all of Springfield.
Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Monday, Nov. 3, 1997, in Eastlawn Cemetery with the Rev. David Finestead officiating under direction of Klingner Mortuary.
