Jason Collins, Dead, Beamsville Burial, Ex-Darke Countian died at Middletown, Yesterday, Jason H. Collins, 81, Formerly of Richland township, Darke County, died at 7:30 p.m. Thursday at Middletown Hospital, Middletown Ohio. He had been critically ill for the last five weeks. Mr. Collins a retired farmer, had been living with his children since the death of his wife Flora, in 1934. He leaves five daughters, 12 grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and two brothers, Elmer Collins of Piqua, and Clark Collins, of Nashville, Tennessee.

The daughters are: Mrs. Bessie Hartle, of Greenville, R.R. 5, Mrs. Earl Hartzell, of Van Wert, Mrs. Tom Eisenhut, of Cicero Indiana, Mrs. Zeno Brandon, of Middletown, and Mrs. Hazel Merritt, of San Diego, California, The remains which are now at the Miller funeral Home, Greenville, will be removed to the home of Mrs. Bessie Hartle, one mile south of Beamsville, early Saturday Morning. Friends may call there until the hour of services. The funeral will be held at the Hartle residence, at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, with the Rev. E. R. Turner, pastor of the Middletown, U. B. Church officiating. Burial will be in Beamsville Cemetery.
