Of Nashville, TN on Saturday, November 22, 2008. He was 78. Mr. Bandy was retired from the Methodist Publishing House, where he served for thirty years. He was a member of the East End United Methodist Church. Mr. Bandy was a veteran of the Korean War. Mr. Bandy is survived by his loving family; his wife of fifty eight years, Jean Bandy; daughters, Beverly (Tom) Lutz of Mt. Juliet and Carol (Steve) McHone of Nashville; grandchildren, Michelle (Johnny) Hassell, Jeannie (Dewey) Smith, Philip (Natalie) Lutz, Carley Lutz and Gary (Angie) McHone; great grandchildren, Taylor Hassell, Tyler and Mason Smith, Kahlan McHone and Keegan Lutz. The family will receive friends on Monday (today) at Spring Hill Funeral Home, 5110 Gallatin Road, Nashville, TN from 2 til 8 p.m. and again one hour prior to the funeral services on Tuesday, November, 25, 2008 at 11 a.m. with The Rev. Diane Blum officiating. Those desiring may make contributions to East End United Methodist Church or Alive Hospice of Nashville.
