Enoch arrived in Vietnam 18 September 1966
and was assigned to C Company,1st Battalion,
327th Infantry,101st Airborne Division,USARV.
While participating in Operation Malheur C
Company encountered hostile forces in a
bunker complex,11 kilometers west of Duc
Pho.Enoch died of gunshot wounds to the body
during the assault on the hostile bunkers.C
Company lost a total of 9 soldiers.
Survived by his parents,Mr & Mrs Willie
Ballanger of Route #8,St Elmo,TN.
