Paulina Jane, wife of Samuel H Hanks died at her home south of Anabel, March 21, 1898, in her 80th year of age. Grandma, as she was familiarly called, had been in feeble health for a number of years. She leaves a husband, two sons and three daughters to mourn their loss. She had been a member of the Christian church for a number of years. Her remains were interred in Bethel Cemetery, Ten Mile township, March 22d.
