Motion Picture and Television Director. He is best known for directing episodes of popular British programs such as "The Avengers", "The Saint", "Man in a Suitcase", "All Creatures Great and Small" and "Rumpole of the Bailey". Born in Chilmark, Wiltshire, England, he attended the Royal Naval College before serving in the Royal Navy during World War II. Tronson began his career in television during the late 1950s with the BBC. Among his other television credits are "Bergerac", "The Darling Buds of May" and "Hetty Wainthropp Investigates". His big screen directing credits are "The Traitors" (1962) and "Ring of Spies" (1964).
