Funeral services for Bonnie M. CALLAHAN, 84, of Amber, were held at 2 p.m. Monday at the First Assembly of God Church in Sallisaw with Revs. Randy Perry and Robert Polvado officiating. Burial was in Sallisaw City Cemetery, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Mrs. CALLAHAN was born Sept. 12, 1922, in Muldrow, to Tom ALLEN and Eliza (DAWES) ALLEN. She died Thursday, June 28, 2007, in Amber. She married Raymond Virgil CALLAHAN, Feb. 17, 1940, in Sallisaw. He preceded her in death, Sept. 10, 2005, in Chickasha. Survivors include two daughters, Barbara and Shirley Kay; seven sons, Ben, Virgil Dean, Wesley, Billy, Charlie, John and Frank; 29 grandchildren; 79 great-grandchildren; and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Tom and Eliza ALLEN, her husband, one son, J.R. CALLAHAN in 1959, three sisters, Odessa EUBANKS, Caloria OWENS and Ethel DORITY, seven brothers, Horris, Bill, George, Fred, Pink, Bud and David ALLEN.
