CLAUDE W. DUNCAN

GOULD CITY---Claude W. Duncan, 70, Gould City, died at 7:45 p.m. Tuesday, May 13, at the Steve Fisher residence here. He was born Dec. 27, 1909, in Clay City, Ind., and spent the greater part of his life in Germfask and Gould City. He attended school in Clay City and moved to Germfask in 1950. He was married to the former Clara J. Danielson, July 7, 1928 in Stanton, Mich. She died May 29, 1975. Mr. Duncan was a former proprietor of Duncan's Restaurant and Motel in Gould City. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Steve (Claudine) Fisher and Mrs. Frank (Sue) Kuchni, both of Gould City; two brothers, Joe Duncan, Clay City, Ind., and Carlton Duncan, Loveland, Colo.; and two grandchildren. Friends may call at the Messier-Broullier Funeral Home beginning at 4:30 p.m. Friday. Complete funeral services will be held at the funeral home 10 a.m. Saturday with Rev. Austin Patty officiating. Burial will be in the Newton Township cemetery in Gould City.
