CRYAN, Michael James Died on November 26, 2008 in Falmouth, at the age of 70. Mr. Cryan was born in Boston in 1938. He attended Mount Saint Charles Academy, graduated from Immaculate Conception High School in Revere, and received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Boston College. Mr. Cryan served in the United States Army, from which he received an Honorable Discharge; he was an active member of AMVETS in Falmouth. Before retiring in 2003, Mr. Cryan worked in human resources, sales and nursing. Mr. Cryan was the son of the late Margaret (nee Mulrey; later Fothergill) and Michael Cryan, and stepson of the late Chelsea Police Captain Edward Fothergill. He was married to the late Joan (Dailey) Cryan. Mr. Cryan was predeceased by his brother Richard Fothergill. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, December 9, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at St. John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church, 841 Shore Road in Pocasset. Interment with full military honors will be held at the Massachusetts National Cemetery immediately following the Mass.
