He was born in Blum, Hill County, Texas on May 20th, 1890 to Thomas Benton Mills and Nancy ELizabeth Ferguson Mills. He was survived by his wife, Annie Pratt Mills. They were married on Oct. 27, 1913. He was an Engineer at the Port Terminal Railroad.
