Stanley Dale Fair, 81, of Safety Harbor, Fla., died Jan. 26 at his residence.
He was born Nov. 30, 1924, in Delphos.
He married Phyllis Jean Peters, who survives in Safety Harbor.
Other survivors include two daughters, Melissa J. Blacksmith of Clearwater, Fla., and Chrystal A. Fair of Palm Harbor, Fla.; a son, Jeffrey D. Fair of Annapolis, Md.; and three grandsons, CPT Jeffrey Fair, Justin D. Fair and Benjamin S. Fair.
Mr. Fair was a graduate of West Point and served 30 years in the U.S. Army Chemical Corps, retiring as a colonel. A Vietnam War veteran, he served as an elder in the First Presbyterian Church of Safety Harbor and was a member of American Legion Post 238 in Safety Harbor.
Mr. Fair is buried at Sylvan Abbey Memorial park in Clearwater.
