Native of Wichita Dies at Age of 61
Miss Lucille Evelyn Garnett, 61, of 638 N. Lorraine, died at her home Sunday night. She had resided in Wichita all her life.
Miss Garnett was born Dec. 18, 1899. She attended the Presbyterian church.
Survivors include two sisters, Mrs. Hazel Whitefield, 638 N. Lorraine, and Mrs. Maerose Anderson of Chattanooga, Tenn.; and two brothers, Orie A. Garnett of 638 N. Lorraine, and R. Bruce Garnett of San Angelo, Tex.
Funeral arrangements will be announced by Gill Mortuary.

Lucille Garnett Rites Pallbearers Chosen
Pallbearers have been chosen for funeral services for Miss Lucille Evelyn Garnett, 61, of 638 N. Lorraine, which will be held at 3 p.m. Wednesday at Gill Mortuary. The Rev. Dr. Harry H. Cunningham, pastor of Broadway Christian Church, will officiate.
Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery.
Casket bearers will be Charles E. Gooch, Paul E. Henrion, William J. Landers, Charles H. Manahan, Harold H. Pence and Wren Porter.
