Rachel was the daughter of Nathan Gozard. (See page 62 of the book, "The Goddards of Granby, CT", by Winfred R. Goddard, Jr".)
I am told that there is an over turned tombstone next to Rufus Case in the Norris Cemetery, and that is believed to be the stone of Rachel (Goddard) Case, his second wife. We need to investigate this matter to see if we can make a positive determination of who is on that stone.
