Rev. George P. York was the son of John and Mary H. (Danson) York. Elizabeth Jane (Tooker) York was his 1st wife. They were married Junius, New York November 8, 1855. Elizabeth died October 3, 1876. Rev. Ella Julie (Cole) York was his 2nd wife. They were married Loraine, New York July 5, 1879. Ella died April 14, 1899. Rev. York was a minister in the Onondaga Conference of the Methodist Protestant Church. He died of a cerebral hemorrhage.
