Peter Joseph Mieth
On September fourth of the year of the Lord eighteen hundred and twenty one at noon, according to reliable information, the fourteenth child, namely a son, the tenth of this marriage, was born to burgher and farmer Johann Mieth senior, and to his first wife Clara née Como. He was baptized that same day, and received the name Peter Joseph.
Godparent was Peter Joseph Mieth, single, and legitimate son of the local burgher and farmer Peter Mieth. The latter stood in for him, and undersigned this record together with the child’s father, and with me, the current pastor, who performed this baptism.
