Willow Hill, Ill., Jan. 5 - James [sic] Martin Cox passed away Wednesday morning at his home northwest of Willow Hill, following a short illness from peritonitis caused by strangulated hernia. He was 70 years old.
The children surviving are Alva Cox of Mattoon, Mrs. Eva Hume, Mrs. Mollie Lingafelter of Texas, Mrs. Flossie Laws of Willow Hill and Mrs. Beulah Brooks of Newton.
