Pearl Norton (nee Hawk), 92, of Schererville, IN, long time resident of Boone Grove/Valparaiso, IN, passed away January 22, 2009. She was a loving Mother of Herbert Brian (Mary Ann) Norton, Joe (Beverly) Norton, Josephine (Ed) Trimmer, Suzy (Bob) Hunt and Harry (Winn) Norton; devoted Grandmother of 9 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by husband, Herbert and grandson, Terry Lee. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, January 27, 2009 at 11:00 AM at Bartholomew Funeral Home, 102 Monroe Street, Valparaiso, IN, with her grandsons Rev. Ben Norton and Rev. Paul Caldwell officiating. Burial at Graceland Cemetery, Valparaiso, IN. Visitation will be held Monday, 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM at Bartholomew Funeral Home. Pearl was more precious than her name. She was a hard worker who gave of herself sacrificially. Her family was her life's joy. She leaves her family a wonderful legacy.
